With funding from PRO Grants CPS Parent Council presents

Student Well Being in The Digital Age February 24th, 2021

A knife can be a dangerous tool. BUT if you learn how to use it

properly and safely, it can also be a valuable tool. The internet is

much like the knife: when used well, its rewards outweigh its risks.

Come and learn about how to avoid the dangers online for you and

your kids. Get a better understanding of today’s games and apps, and

best practices to set up accounts in a way that is protected.

Our speaker is Cat Coode, founder of Binary Tattoo, Data Protection Consultant and Certified Privacy Professional. https://www.binarytattoo.com/

Cat Coode will walk us through how to safeguard our data, our reputations, and our mental happiness while online.

Join us for an evening of online safety education and discussion on:

This presentation is intended for parents and older children. The intention is to be able to openly discuss some current apps/sites and currently online  issues without giving younger children new ideas of places to visit. This said we do appreciate that current circumstances prohibit the ability for parents to stream in their home without an ‘audience’ and we will be mindful of that possibility

This event is made possible by CPS Parent Council applying for Pro Grant Funding
