Conestogo PS will be taking part in the “2017 Terry Fox National School Run Day” to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. The run will take place on Thursday September 28 at 3:10 pm until the end of the school day. The students will Run/Walk around the back field for 30 minutes. Any parents who are interested in running along with the school are encouraged to join us at this time. Tax receipts for donations of $20 or more will be issued automatically if a pledge sheet or online donation is used.

It is the policy of the Waterloo Region District School Board that students do not go from door to door to seek pledges.

Please return the pledge sheet and any money collected to your child’s homeroom teacher on or before Wednesday September 27. If your child does not collect pledges I am asking them to bring in a toonie on the day of this event.

The Conestogo Terry Fox Run is now in it’s 21st year. To date our school community has raised $63,383.17 for the Canadian Cancer Society. Please encourage your child’s participation in this activity.
