We are thrilled to hold our Virtual Grade 8 Graduation on Tuesday, June 22 via Google Meet Live Stream. If the students are back in person, we will broadcast the ceremony during the day, as well as at 6:00 pm; if the students are not back yet, we will only broadcast it at 6:00.
Our theme this year is “Celebrating All Students” and we certainly aim to do that!
In preparation for our virtual grad, there are some items that we are inviting you to please send us by email:
- 3 pictures of your child (one from early in life, one growing up, and one very recent — a dressier “grad” type picture, for example) – send these to your child’s homeroom teachers (Ms. D. Silveira or Mr. S. Budafalvi)
- a parent greeting (your family’s graduation greeting for your child, to be publicly shared on a slide during grad) – send this to Mme Forsyth
- “My best memory of Conestogo” – a brief (20 seconds or less) typed up message from your child plus a voice recording of your child reading this – send this to your child’s homeroom teachers (Ms. D. Silveira or Mr. S. Budafalvi)
There is a Video Permission Letter (sent in earlier today via School Day) for us to be able to use these components in our Google Meet Live Stream. Please sign and return (scan and email is best) to me.
Your co-operation in ensuring we receive all of these components is of utmost importance.
